Who We Are: The Long Island State Veterans Home is a 350-bed skilled nursing facility and 40 slot Adult Day Health Care program dedicated to providing compassionate nursing care to honorably discharged veterans of the United States Armed Forces, their spouses, as well as, Gold Star Parents. 

Throughout our 20 year history, the Long Island State Veterans Home has remained focused on being the premier provider of nursing home services to the veteran community.

All proceeds from this event will be used to enhance programs, services and activities at the Long Island State Veterans Home, benefiting our veterans and those who care for them.

Your support will enable us to continue to provide compassionate care and high quality of life to all veterans from the Greatest Generation to the Latest Generation.

Give-A-Way Drawing

Winner need not be present to winner.  All winners will be notified.

 Official Rules: Entry purchase is necessary to win. Give-A-Way is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and 18 years of age or older. All decisions made by the Long Island State Veterans Home (LISVH) and/or Stony Brook Foundation are final.  All winners are selected at random. LISVH is not responsible for lost or stolen entries. Entries will be disqualified, in the sole discretion of LISVH, if attempts are made to disrupt the Give-a-way or circumvent the terms and conditions of these rules. If the above occurs, LISVH reserves the right to remedy any such action, disruption, or circumvention in a manner, determined solely by LISVH that is fair and equitable to  all participants. The Raffle Numbers and Prizes are not transferable or assignable and they are not redeemable for cash. Cash prizes will be payable to the winner by check in 3-5 business days. All winners are responsible for the payment of any and all taxes and/or licenses and/or other related local, State, Federal fees that may apply to such winnings. Taxes on prizes are solely the responsibility of the winners. LISVH reserves the right to replace the advertised prize(s) with a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize(s) is/are no longer available. LISVH will not be responsible for replacing any lost or stolen elements of any prize package. All prizes will be awarded. LISVH is not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries; (ii) failed, returned, or misdirected notifications based on inaccurate information provided by the winner; or (iii) telephone, electronic, hardware, or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties resulting from participation in this give-away of otherwise; (iv) errors in transmission; (v) any condition caused by events beyond the control of LISVH that may cause the Give-a-way  to be disrupted or corrupted; (vi) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by a prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of a prize, or from participation in the give-a-way; or (vi) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the give-a-way.
